Virtual Social Skills Development
While families remain in self-isolation at home, children’s social circles are restricted to interactions with siblings and parents! Children on the spectrum can easily find themselves regressing in the domain of social skill development because they no longer have the opportunity to expand their social circles with children in their community. ACT Learning Centre is pleased to offer Virtual Social Groups to help improve your children’s social development from home.
Participating children will be placed into groups from ages 5 – 9 and ages 10 – 15. These groups will include 5 to 7 children with 2 behavioural therapists serving as group leaders, facilitating interesting activities and integrating skill development techniques.
Social Group Calendar:
Tuesday’s from 3pm – 4pm – Group 1 (ages 5 – 9)
Thursdays from 3pm – 4 pm – Group 2 (ages 10 – 15)
Cost: $25 per child per session
If you are interested in registering your child for a virtual social group or would like more information, please send us an email at info@actlearningcentre.ca. Spots are limited!
