Nasmah speaks English and Arabic and has been working as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Instructor Therapist since 2017 at Progressive Behavior Services in Egypt across different settings, such as clinical, home, school, day care and camps.
In 2022, Nasmah had the opportunity to combine her passion for ABA with her background in Mass Communication Arts by coordinating educational events and workshops in Egypt. She created campaigns aimed at raising awareness about ABA, bringing together RBAs under one roof and promoting inclusive learning. Collaborating with amazing professionals, she also had the privilege of coordinating a successful 3-day workshop in the Middle East with Dr. Gregory Henley, which was a milestone for all involved.
Nasmah recently moved to Ottawa and is proud to be working at ACT with an incredible team. She is also in the process of pursuing a Master’s in Psychology and Play Therapy, furthering her commitment to helping families.
Before diving into ABA, Nasmah served as the Head of the Humanities Department in the British school in Egypt.
I’m always excited about the opportunity to blend my experience, skills, and passion to make a positive impact on the lives and create a safe & happy environment for those I work with.

“I started as a placement student at ACT in the final year of my master’s degree. During this time, I received many opportunities to practice the skills that I had learned in my undergraduate and graduate studies.
